A Reflection of the Full Moon

Looking up at the full moon in the evening sky

I always give thanks in the knowledge that wherever we are in the world
The moon joins us all together by reflecting the light of the mother sun
To guide us safely home and keep us all safe throughout the darkness hours
Assuring us in the knowledge that by early dawn the sun will rise again
Bringing us her warmth and energy to see us through the coming day.

Life is all about taking steps

Sometimes we step forwards
Somtimes we step back
Sometimes we need to step sideways
Allowing time to decide on our next steps
But in whichever direction life takes us
We should strive to learn from all previous steps
Allowing us to Step out in the direction to move us forwards again.

Love Is

Love is a very special feeling that lasts your whole life long.

It is that tingling feeling you get inside when you first meet someone special.
And the sadness you feel in your heart when that someone special leaves.
Love is knowing that these special feelings you have shared with another will always be there.
And will be there in your heart to cheer you up when you are feeling down.
Love is found in many places and with many people.
And can be miss-understood by others who do not understand the true meaning of love.
Love is also having close friends to share this special feeling with.
And letting them know that you will always be there when they are feeling down.
Love is and will always be there once found with someone special.

Ode to Mother Nature

An Ode for March

Beware the first signs of spring for they may cloud the true intention of mother earth.
She throws up pretty Snow drops and carpets of colourful Crocuses
But do not be fooled by the bright sunshine she beams down on us
For it blinds us to her true intentions and veils the cold winds and snow she can still bring.
